Visualeyes is an exhibition of new work by artist Ellie Niblock inspired by a month spent exploring the landscape of Yorkshire Sculpture Park. She was selected for the 2020 Art for the Environment Residency Programme and her work brings together both digital and physical elements of her research. She investigates how real and virtual worlds co-exist, and probes the creative possibilities that emerge when they overlap.

The Bard at Barley Hall explores the history of York through the drama of Shakespeare, featuring costumes worn by famous actors, including Al Pacino’s Shylock costume from A Merchant of Venice, Michael Fassbender’s Macbeth costume and Kate Winslet’s Ophelia costume from Hamlet. Dress up and perform your own scenes on the interactive stage and view exhibits from York Archaeological Trust’s own collections. Plus, discover a range of sensory activities for visitors with additional needs.
