Struggling to choose where to visit for Newcastle Restaurant Week?

We’ve narrowed it down to five of our favourites.

The Vermont Hotel
For fine-dining that doesn’t break the bank, head to The Vermont Hotel this Restaurant Week. With two courses for £10 or three courses for £15 and options such as flat iron steak, and homemade strawberry and basil ice cream, we’re in foodie heaven.

The Stand
The Restaurant Week menu at The Stand might look concise, with only three options for the main course, but we’re still having a hard time trying to choose whether to get the Aberdeen angus beef burger, the pan-fried sea bream or the summer vegetable lasagne. Help?

Blackfriars Restaurant
For British cuisine in a truly authentic setting, visit Blackfriars for a two-course lunch (£10) or three-course dinner (£15). Whatever option you choose, make sure you get the sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel sauce and banana ice cream for dessert. You can thank us later.

Lane7
Mac and cheese bites, pulled pork buns, oreo cheesecake – the Restaurant Week menu at Lane7 looks mouthwateringly good. The tables here already book up quickly, but with the bargain two courses for £10 or three courses for £15, make a reservation now so you don’t miss out.

Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill
Situated on the ground floor of Hotel Indigo, and in a prime city centre location, enjoy an indulgent lunch at Marco Pierre White of £15 for two courses and feast on slow-cooked lamb shoulder, pan-fried salmon or spring green risotto.
