The Chocolate Gallery
There’s a huge selection of hand-crafted, beautifully presented chocolates at this charming outpost in Morpeth – whether it’s good old milk chocolate or something a little bit different like a Pina Colada truffle, you won’t be disappointed.

The Good Tempered Chocolate Co
If you manage to catch these guys at Tynemouth Market or Jesmond Food Market, you’re in luck. Founder Zoe tempers all their chocolates by hand using fine Belgian couverture (chocolate made with extra cocoa butter to give a high gloss), and dreams up delicious combinations – think caramelised walnuts and candied oranges in silky 70% cocoa chocolate.
Davenport’s Chocolates
Davenport’s Chocolates are lovingly crafted by artisan chocolatier Jane Williams using the traditional Swiss method of enrobing, which results in a beautiful, velvety texture. Choose from a range of flavours including cinnamon toffee apple and strawberry champagne, which can even be delivered to your door if you’re feeling extra indulgent.
