This weekend, head to Hazlewood Castle to see a play like no other. Legends of the Castle is a musical theatre performance that features wild stories of non-fiction characters as told by a band of four medieval-style strolling actors, who act out folklore fables from long ago. Suitable for children of all ages, expect catchy songs, plenty of audience participation and a whole lot of fun. Plus, the stage is just as unique as the show, with the performance taking place in the castle’s beautiful woodland amphitheatre.

With more than 80 tables of quality vinyl records of all genres, you’ll spend hours searching through all the stalls and as it’s the fair’s fifth birthday, there'll be lots of rare and collectable records and bargains to celebrate. If you’re a local musician, why not go one step further than just buying a record and head to Press-on Vinyl in Teesside? This brand new pressing plant is geared towards grassroots music, aiming to support independent artists and labels in the North East, and you can organise to get a short run of your work pressed.

Belgrave Feast is back in Leeds this Saturday, showcasing three floors of food from the North’s finest indie street food vendors, art, ales and music. This month the line-up includes favourites such as Luigi Street Food, Oh My Thai, Patty Smith’s Burgers and Sugar Blonde Bakes. Plus you can make a family day of it as there are kids arts, crafts and soft play available throughout the day, as well as Dough Boys Pizza running a little chefs pizza-making class at 11am.
