Christmas Salmon Sushi Sandwich
- 4 slices white bread
- 200g sliced salmon, smoked or unsmoked
- 60g watercress, chopped roughly
- 150g cream cheese
- Black sesame seeds to garnish
Take the crusts off your bread, then generously spread cream cheese on one side of each slice of bread. Sprinkle the watercress over the top of half the slices of bread, before sandwiching it with another slice. Cut the sandwiches into fingers, around 3-4cm wide.
Wrap the salmon slices around each finger, making sure they are fully covered and trimming any excess. Then, using a very sharp knife, cut the salmon rolls into squares, the same width as your fingers were (3-4cm). You should be left with a beautiful cross-section of salmon, bread, cream cheese and watercress.
