Belsay Hall & Gardens
1st–16th April
Visitors to Belsay Gardens are in for a feast of colour during spring. Take part in the Easter Adventure Quest, exploring the gardens to hunt for clues and challenges, and discover traditional Easter games like egg rolling and the egg and spoon race. Track down the eggs and you’ll be rewarded with an adventurer’s certificate and tasty chocolate treat.
Beamish
7th–10th April
Head to the living museum of the North as they celebrate the traditions of Easter. From hot cross bun baking in Herron’s Bakery, to traditional food displays at the 1940s farm, as well as Easter card making in the Masonic Hall, there are lots of egg-cellent activities taking place at Beamish over the long Easter weekend.
William’s Den

Kids will have a cracking time taking part in the Easter adventures at William’s Den. There are all kinds of egg cellent activities taking place such as an egg hunt, design in carrot corner, running wild with the Play Pioneers and the chance to Build a Bear. Plus, they can make new friends including the Easter Bunny!
