Not only do they serve lunch and evening menus from their open kitchen, they also offer fantastic breakfast dishes from Tuesday to Friday. Thirty Nine Café Bakehouse
Creating fabulous, flavour-forward dishes using local and sustainable ingredients where possible, this Ilkley hotspot is a must-visit. Open Wednesday to Sunday, you’ll find brunch dishes such as smashed avocado on sourdough, full Yorkshire breakfasts, poached eggs Benedict and freshly-baked croissants, alongside fruity smoothies, milkshakes, coffees and tempting home-baked treats – plus their front terrace and inside café are both dog friendly. 39thegrove.co.uk
Rise
Tucked away on York’s Fossgate, this popular (and very Instagrammable) all-day brunch spot is the place to head this October. For those with a sweet tooth, tuck into strawberry French toast served on vanilla brioche, or try one of their feel-good fruit bowls. If you’re in the mood for something savoury, we recommend the eggs Royale or the Reuben sandwich washed down with a homemade smoothie or iced latte. 44 Fossgate, York
The Furnace
Where Yorkshire traditions meet modern ideas, The Furnace in Sheffield takes deciding between your favourite breakfast dishes out of the question as you can build your own breakfast board. Choose five items from the menu which includes croissants and cheese twists, Cumberland Scotch eggs and smoked trout eggs Benedict, maple bacon or scrambled tofu, as well as açaí berry smoothie bowls, yoghurt and granola pots or Nutella and Biscoff French toast.
