Timeless Places – Trevor Craggs
At the Northern Lights Gallery in Keswick you can find Trevor Craggs’ newest solo exhibition, Timeless Places. Running until the 5th June, this colourful exhibition features Trevor’s dramatic depictions of landscapes – leaving a lasting impression thanks to clever use of weather and the passage of time.
Off Grid – Sheila Hicks
The Hepworth in Wakefield is showcasing many pieces of Nebraska-born sculpture artist, Sheila Hicks. The exhibition spans work she produced in her early days, back in the 1950s, all the way to newer site-specific commissions. Her work is bright, colourful and offers a wealth of visual and sensual experiences.
Listen to a new album and dance around the kitchen…
Florence + The Machine, Disco Fever
Out now, the newest album from singer-songwriter Florence Welch sees her returning to her ethereal roots with a lively disco twist. That doesn’t mean there aren’t any softer cuts on this record, though. The Bomb is a personal favourite, with angelic vocals and heart-rending lyricism.
Harry Styles, Harry’s House
The much-anticipated third studio album from One Direction alumni Harry Styles is finally here this Friday. If his catchy teaser single As It Was is anything to go by, expect a more personal record with indie/soulful vocals set to 80s-inspired pop melodies.

The Pentaverate on Netflix
Mike Myers is officially back, returning to his tried-and-tested character based performances – this time in the form of a Netflix Original series. The show follows Mike playing multiple characters, but primarily it concerns a Canadian journalist involved in a conspiracy plot. Promising to be cheeky and crude, make sure the kids are out of the room for this one.
