From Percy Street, entry to the cottage is into a spacious hallway, where you can access the ground floor WC and places to hang coats and store shoes. The herringbone-style flooring leads either upstairs via the solid oak staircase, or into the lounge.
Inside the lounge with period features, you’ll find a large four-seater sofa, love seat and armchair providing ample seating, with a large Smart TV positioned above the fireplace. Off the lounge is an open-plan dining kitchen, finished with bespoke cabinets. The dining area with feature lighting looks out through glass French doors to the rear garden and has seating for up to six.

Up the solid oak staircase, there are three bedrooms and one bathroom.
The spacious main bedroom features a king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe, floor length mirror and large velvet armchair for a luxurious stay. Plus, the east-facing original sash windows offer optimum views of the beautiful St. Paul’s Church. On this floor is a further double bedroom and a single.
This luxury holiday cottage also has the added benefit of a hot tub and sauna, as well as sofa-style garden seating to make the most of the outdoor space. Meanwhile, there’s private, off-road parking for one car a short distance away and all other parking is on the quiet street.
Whilst dogs can’t be accommodated at this cottage, it’s a luxurious retreat for a small family or couples staying together, seeking the convenience of the vibrant town (the central marketplace is just a couple of minutes’ walk), and a location which is great for reaching all the attractions of beautiful Northumberland.
The cottage has Wi-Fi and it’s just four miles to Alnmouth, with its fabulous beach, seaside village and railway station, on the East Coast mainline, which gives easy and fast access for day trips to Edinburgh, Newcastle and Durham.
