Living North LIVE is back in York this spring

Here's a glimpse at just some of the amazing artists you'll find at York Racecourse from 21st-23rd March.
Otter wildlife art print

The Hedgerow Artist
Scarborough-based artist Angela Weir is the creator behind The Hedgerow Artist and finds her inspiration in the natural beauty surrounding her studio. You may have spotted some of her artwork on display in the Stephen Joseph Theatre. Many of Angela’s pieces are created using traditional oils, acrylics and pastels, whilst some feature cuts of wood as a canvas.

Gone Fishing doodle

Dabble Doodle
This local artist paints vibrant, fun and colourful designs, proving how art can be used as a form of storytelling. From landscapes to animals and pretty floral patterns, many of their pieces are printed with Chromalife inks using a dye-based process for vibrancy, while some are originally hand-painted with

Emily Ward Art
A well-known face at Living North’s Fairs, artist Emily Ward boasts a collection of more than 200 images depicting a range of subjects including landscapes and landmarks. As well as original art, prints and canvases, her work is printed onto a variety of gifts including cups, coasters, cushions and candles.
