The Hodgson family has been farming here since 1964 and their 300-acre farm is completely organic. Stocking more than 2,000 carefully selected organic products, shop everything from fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products and award-winning meat, to speciality flours, pulses, canned produce and fish. At the butchery they do things the old fashioned way, using traditional methods to prepare their own sausages, bacon, classic joints and cooked meats using beef from Aberdeen Angus cattle, pork from Landrace Duroc pigs (famous for their tender pork) and lamb from their mixed flock of Scottish Black Face, Cheviots and home-bred mules.
