Enjoy pints with your pooch

Are you worried about your canine comrade being left alone while you’re out enjoying a tipple? Take them with you! We’ve rounded up some of the best dog-friendly pubs in the North East.

The Curfew

The most northerly micropub in England, The Curfew offers a wide selection of cask and craft beers, alongside tasty bar snacks and a cosy atmosphere. Unlike most micropubs, The Curfew has a great little beer garden, perfect for enjoying a pint in the fresh air with your pup.

Pooch owners can dine in the cosy snug, while your furry friend can dine on Frozzy’s Doggie ice cream, a lactose-free frozen yoghurt. The Promenade’s wood burning stove makes the pub an excellent refuge from the beautiful (and windy) Whitburn Bay.
