Support Newcastle Falcons and Alzheimer's Society in EPCR Challenge Cup Clash Against Montpellier
Newcastle Falcons are calling on supporters to create a sea of blue at Kingston Park Stadium on Friday 17th January, when the team takes on Montpellier in the EPCR Challenge Cup
Kick-off is at 8pm and it's set to be a memorable night of rugby and support.
The third kit features Alzheimer’s Society’s signature blue and the forget-me-not flower, symbolising hope and support for those affected by dementia.
Ten percent of the proceeds from each shirt sold goes directly to Alzheimer’s Society, aiding their mission to improve the lives of people living with dementia. The shirts are available for purchase both online and in-store.
‘It’s been a fantastic collaboration with Alzheimer’s Society so far this season,’ says Alison Carthy, head of retail and ticketing at Newcastle Falcons. ‘We’re proud to be working alongside such a passionate charity and the response from our fans has been incredible. The third kit not only represents the unity within our community, but it also shines a light on an issue that impacts so many. We are excited to continue supporting the Alzheimer’s Society, especially at our game against Montpellier, and making a difference.’
In addition to wearing the kit, fans can look forward to a host of exciting match day activities designed to promote better wellbeing. The Falcons alongside the Newcastle Rugby Foundation will be showcasing several events including Falcons Fit sessions and Walking Rugby on match day, initiatives that are easily available to supporters and highlight the importance of physical and mental health for all ages and abilities.
Alzheimer’s Society volunteers will also be at the game to conduct bucket collections, and all funds raised will go toward supporting their vital work.
Tickets for the match are selling fast, with adult tickets starting from just £14 and U18s from £8. For those looking to enjoy a VIP experience, match day hospitality is also available.
