In this new series (a reimagining of the 1987 movie), an affair threatens the lives of Dan and his wife Beth. Exploring modern attitudes towards strong women, personality disorders and coercive control, we’re promised this will be a gripping watch.

Coronation Tailors: Fit for a King, 9pm, BBC Two
And so the Coronation celebrations begin. Let’s start with the BBC where menswear designer and Sewing Bee judge Patrick Grant will take you behind the scenes at uniform manufacturers Kashket & Partners as they prepare thousands of parade uniforms for the King’s Coronation.

Sing for the King: The Search for the Coronation Choir, 8pm, BBC One
Gareth Malone, Motsi Mabuse, Amanda Holden and Rose Ayling-Ellis will coach and inspire singers to give a pitch-perfect performance for royalty at Windsor Castle. This special choir have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to sing for the King and Queen Consort at The Coronation Concert on Sunday.

The Coronation of HM the King, from 7.30am, BBC & ITV
It’s Coronation Day and this historic event will be on TV all day. Take your front-row seat in front of the box to see the King's Procession make its way through the streets of London, from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey, before the ceremony takes place.

The Coronation Concert, 8pm, BBC One
Celebrations don’t stop there. Sunday will see the Coronation Concert take place on the East Lawn of Windsor Castle with performances from Take That, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Freya Ridings and a 70-piece orchestra.

Not to be taken too seriously, this comedy soap opera from the writers of Star Stories has filmed a special episode for the Coronation. Charles is excited to put his special hat on, but Wills thinks he should cut back on the spending.

If that’s not enough royalty for the week, Bridgerton returns to Netflix on Thursday. Queen Charlotte's marriage to King George of England sparks a new love story and transforms high society in this prequel to the popular series.
