A life-changing medical diagnosis has thrown psychologist Joe off balance. When a young woman is found murdered, DS Riya Devi suggests asking Joe for a professional opinion, but is there something he’s not telling the police? ITV's adaptation of Michael Robotham's best-selling 2019 novel begins this week and we’re sure this new series is going to be gripping (it’s from the producers of Line of Duty and Vigil).

Tuesday 30th August

I Am a Killer, Netflix

Yet another pick for lovers of true crime, don’t miss I Am a Killer as season three heads to Netflix this Tuesday. Death row inmates give firsthand accounts of their crimes in this documentary series. If you need something new to binge, we suggest starting with season one.

Let Home DIY-ers inspire you to renovate with the help of interior design icon Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. Travel Man: 48 Hours in…, Netflix

To kick off September, 2015’s Travel Man series is coming to Netflix. You’ll join comedian Richard Ayoade (who has an efficient approach to travel), as he explores top tourist destinations in just 48 hours. That should give you the travel inspo you need, or plenty of laughs if not.

Emma Willis will once again host the return of the spinning-chair singing contest, with Anne-Marie, Olly Murs, Tom Jones and Will.i.am on the coaching panel. We’ll leave it up to you to decide whether singing competitions and talent shows have had their day or not…

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, 9pm, Channel 4

Following the hype of this year’s series of SAS: Who Dares Wins where Paige Zima, a forensic science student who recently completed her studies at Teesside University, decided to take on the challenge (and made it to the end), the celebrity edition returns this weekend. We’re excited to see EastEnders actress Maisie Smith and Geordie Love Island winner Amber Gill taking on the challenge.
