Tiptoe Retreats

Led by Pauline Beaumont (author of Bread Therapy: the Mindful Art of baking Bread) and Lucy Carroll, BASI Mat Pilates Instructor, retreat days at Tiptoe Farm in tranquil North Northumberland are designed to give you an opportunity to slow down and reflect on ways to support your own physical and psychological wellbeing. Making the most of the tranquil setting the day will include a guided walk in woodland by the River Till where you can try the soothing art of forest bathing and learn some of the powerful life-lessons to be gleaned from nature. You’ll also practice Pilates and perhaps rather unusually make a loaf of bread by hand to help with mindfulness. A home cooked, whole-food lunch and refreshments are provided throughout the day, transport by train to Berwick and collection can be arranged, and accommodation is available on the farm in self-catering cottages.
