Where to Watch the Euros 2024 this Summer
Rumour has it football's coming home…
Leaping Salmon
Golden Square, Berwick TD15 1BG
Footie fans have already been supporting the Three Lions at The Leaping Salmon when they aired England's friendlies earlier this month. Now they plan to show every single game – but advise you book a table in advance to get the best seat in the (public) house. If you’re thinking well ahead you can even book drinks packages to avoid the queues at the bar.
Central Park Fanzone
Times Square, Newcastle NE4 7AD
Central Park’s container bars are back at Times Square along with ‘the biggest LED screen the square has ever seen’ – they’re taking the Summer of Sport seriously. Because tickets normally sell out so quickly, they’re offering a chance to buy a group game season pass (to watch all the England group games here for just £15 as well as getting early access to all knockout games, including the final).
Hwkrland
Hillgate Quays, Gateshead NE8 2AR
Based under the iconic Tyne Bridge, Hwkrland will provide street food, pints and good vibes – and, most importantly, huge screens to watch the match. Showings of England games are ticket-only, so make sure you book yours fast.
Tapyard Studios
Warehouse 34, Hoults Yard, Newcastle NE6 2HL
Tapyard Studios is hosting a huge fanzone for England's crunch match against Denmark on Thursday 20th June (open from 3pm). The game will show on three giant screens and there'll be flag displays hosted by Matty Renton of The Magpie Channel. DJs will be spinning classic England world cup bangers and there'll be street food and drinks deals on offer, including two for £10 pints of house lager as well as two for £10 bottles of Rekorderlig and Aperol Spritz.
NX Newcastle
Westgate Road, Newcastle NE1 1SW
Nobby Solano is the first special guest attending the Euro fanzone at NX Newcastle this month. He’ll be the on-stage pundit alongside The Magpie Channel’s Matty Renton when England plays Serbia on 16th June, followed by ex-Toon striker Mick Quinn on 20th June. Fans can expect a live rendition of the national anthem before kick off on what’s promised to be ‘the biggest screen in town'. For a limited time only there will be £1 tickets available online for the fanzone for this Sunday.
STACK Seaburn
Whitburn Road, Seaburn SR6 8AA
All England games will be shown on STACK’s screens with commentary this summer so get a round of pints in and take your pick from the street food traders. It’s always a great atmosphere.
Darlington Markets
West Row, Darlington DL1 5PX
This year Darlington Markets will be screening all England Euro games with two screens at the Street Food Hall, promising to provide a more family-friendly environment than a rowdy sports bars. Grab a pint of Poretti or cider with an item off one of the food stalls’ dedicated Euro menus.
Alexandra
Prospect Place, Harrogate HG1 1LB
The Alex (as it’s known locally) is showing all the live action from Germany this summer on multiple HD screens around the pub. Chilled drinks packages and pub-grub deals are available.
Spark:York
Piccadilly, York YO1 9PB
Book a table and join the crowd to watch the matches on Spark’s outdoor screen. They’re showing all the England games, kicking off with the group stage. Tickets are live now and you’ll want to book yours fast to guarantee a seat.
Millennium Square
Leeds LS2 3AD
Millennium Square is Leeds’s Euro 2024 Fanzone with all England’s group matches, and the knock-out stages, live on their big screen. It’s standing only, and you must buy tickets in advance, but it’ll be a brilliant (almost stadium) atmosphere with a bar and street food to keep you fuelled.
Beck & Call
Stainbeck Road, Meanwood LS7 2NP
On sunny days you can watch the games on a 20ft screen in Beck & Call’s garden. If the Great British weather attacks, book a table inside the main bar area and tap room or in the family-friendly zone. All tables must be booked in advance. Gather your friends and book a VIP table package (four pizzas or two sharing fries and eight bottles to kick off the celebrations).
Cavendish Sheffield
West Street, Sheffield S1 4EU
From the qualifiers to the final Cavendish are showing all the important fixtures live in Sheffield with HD screens and an always-electrifying atmosphere. Make the most of their drinks packages (a bucket of beer?) and food and drink offers but be sure to book your table in advance.
Staying in? Fixtures will be shown on both BBC and ITV. Live streams will be available on the BBC iPlayer and ITVX apps. The first England match is against Serbia (kicking off at 9pm on 16th June), followed by Denmark at 6pm on 20th June and Slovenia at 9pm on 25th June.
