Where to Watch the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 Final in Yorkshire and the North East
In case you haven’t heard, England’s women’s football team might just be bringing it home! Win or lose, here’s the best places to watch Sunday’s final, pint in hand, in Yorkshire and the North East
NE1 Screen on The Green
Old Eldon Square, Percy Street, Newcastle NE1 7JB
Here for the summer, this central spot is perfect to get amongst the sporting atmosphere whilst relaxing on the deck chairs. This free, open-air space will be showcasing the live action from the final on the big screen, but make sure to get there early as we have a feeling the seats will be snapped up quickly.
Dry Dock
Woodhouse Lane, Leeds LS2 3AX
Dry Dock in Leeds is as good a spot as any, bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘watering hole’ (the pub is literally a boat). Dry Dock is one of those coveted venues that always creates a great atmosphere for England match days, which is always appreciated.
Ouseburn Garden
Under the Bridge, 1 Stepney Road, Newcastle NE1 2PZ
In the heart of Ouseburn Valley, Ouseburn Garden is a cosy spot to grab a drink and some food before getting fixated on what we’re sure will be an action-packed game. The unique shipping container bar is stocked with a great range of drinks, including many local favourites, whilst Brack Burger is on hand to keep those pre-match cravings at bay with their tasty burgers and loaded fries.
Streetbar Sunderland
1–5 Low Row, Sunderland SR1 3EX
Get in the sporting mood at Streetbar with warm up matches shown throughout the day – but the real event is of course the women’s final! With large HDTVs and HD projecter screens there's no better place to be amongst the action.
The Old Bank
6–12 Lendal, York YO1 8AA
With 24 screens, an outdoor TV in their sunken garden, and two big projectors, it’s clear to see why this is a cracking venue to sit back and watch the footy. The food’s pretty good as well, if you’re partial to a bowl of onion rings with your pint.
The Beehive
240–246 West Street, Sheffield S1 4EU
The Beehive has been a dedicated venue for broadcasting the women’s Euros, so far they’ve shown every match live with the enthusiasm we’d expect for such a massive national success story. A classic cosy pub experience, the atmosphere is sure to be electric on Sunday.
Leaping Salmon
Golden Square, Bank Hill, Berwick TD15 1BG
Grab a drink from the bar, order some tasty snacks (if your nerves can handle it that is) and watch the live finals at the Leaping Salmon. Even better, this venue is dog friendly, so bring your four-legged friends along too.
The Glasshouse
1 Doncaster Road, Kirk Sandall, Doncaster DN3 1HP
This heritage pub was once a drinking space for Pilkington’s Glass Manufacturers, erected to entertain employees and show off their glasswork. It’s now a fantastic sports bar, primed and ready to tune in to the final this Sunday.

Drinks will be flowing and food will be provided by some of the North East’s favourite food vendors, including Gingerinos pizza and Acropolis.
The Sloop Inn
46 Beckside, Beverley HU17 0PD
A cheery local in the lovely market town of Beverley, The Sloop Inn shows live sport every day – so make no mistake, Sunday is going to be a lively one! They also have a roomy beer garden and pets are always welcome, so it’s a great shout all round.
