Supported Charity

We are delighted to be supporting the Percy Hedley Foundation at our Christmas Fair in Newcastle this year.

The Percy Hedley Foundation, established in 1953, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with multiple complex physical and learning disabilities. The foundation offers a wide range of specialised services, including education, therapy, residential care and support services. Through their two schools, the foundation provides tailored educational programmes in an inclusive environment. Additionally, their therapy services, which encompass speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy, aim to improve communication skills, mobility, and overall quality of life for those they serve.

Beyond education and therapy, the Percy Hedley Foundation plays a vital role in promoting independence through residential care, supported living services, and vocational training programs that help individuals gain skills and secure employment. Their commitment extends to community outreach, offering valuable resources and support to families and caregivers. Widely recognised for their dedication to empowering people with disabilities, the foundation is a crucial resource, providing life-changing support and opportunities for over 550 families.
