The West End hit TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, is coming to Sunderland Empire this spring. Running from Wednesday 26th March to Saturday 5th April, don’t miss out on its UK debut.
The musical follows Tina’s journey from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee to multi-award winning global superstar. With an unmatched soundtrack of her iconic hits including The Best, What’s Love Got To Do With It? and River Deep Mountain High this is an unmissable show for any fan of the Queen of Rock ’n’ Roll. Watch as her inspiring story is brought to life in this incredible celebration of a woman who defied boundaries, shattered barriers and fought to become the icon she is today. This award–winning production is the longest show to ever run at Aldwych Theatre in the West End, playing for over six years following its world premiere.
This show-stopping cast includes Ella Ma-Kinga N’Zuzi and Jochebel Ohene MacCarthy who share the iconic role of Tina Turner. Paired with this unmissable show, the lucky winner will enjoy dinner for two at The Keel Tavern. Priding themselves as the home of Sunderland’s finest craft beer, the menu at this cosy pub has been carefully curated by their Head Chef, showcasing local, honest food and including everything from small plates to Sunday roasts. This competition is for one person to win a pair of tickets to TINA – The Tina Turner Musical at Sunderland Empire on Monday 31st March at 7.30pm. Tickets are non-transferable to another production. No monetary value will be given. The meal at The Keel Tavern is to be redeemed on the day of the showing of TINA – The Tina Turner Musical. The price includes £50 off the total bill when you purchase two- or three-course options for two, must be redeemed all in one visit and is non-transferable. Food is served from 11am–8pm. Flowers must be collected from Flowers By Jennifer on Blandford Street.
