Win a Copy of Award-Winning Author Mari Hannah’s New Book Black Fell
To celebrate the release of Northumberland author Mari Hannah’s new crime fiction novel, we’re offering 10 lucky Living North readers the chance to win a copy
Multi award-winning author and screenwriter Mari Hannah is the mind behind the Kate Daniels series of police procedurals and the Ryan & O'Neil and Stone & Oliver series. She’s a former probation officer who lives in rural Northumberland with her partner, who is an ex-murder detective.
After being assaulted whilst on duty, part of Mari’s recovery involved writing exercises and she soon discovered her talent for writing. She has won multiple awards for her work, and fans of her writing include Val McDermid and Stephen Fry. Her Kate Daniels series is currently in development for TV with Sprout Pictures and Atlantic Nomad.
Black Fell is the brilliant fourth novel in Mari’s award-winning Stone and Oliver series. Publishing on 22nd June, it’s set in Northumberland and Iceland and follows the detectives as they are called to investigate a barrel found floating in Kielder Reservoir with skeletal remains inside it. Nearby tourists are eliminated from the investigation, but when a second body is found, have the police let the killer leave the scene? It’s already received positive reviews from Trevor Wood and Ann Cleeves.
