Win a family ticket to Seven Stories’ new immersive exhibitions
Seven Stories, the National Centre for Children’s Books, is celebrating reopening with two new immersive exhibition experiences
One is called Shifter of Shapes and it’s all about the healing power of nature, finding nature all around us inspired by The Lost Spells by Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris. It’s all told by Red Fox who is one of the main characters in that book. When you visit, you’ll have the gallery to yourself in your own family bubble. Your bubble will have exclusive use of the gallery for 15 minutes and then you will be invited to take a table in the Lost Spells Den, where you can browse the book and make a themed bookmark, with a complimentary tea or coffee.
The second experience is Once There Was Magic, their new immersive experience. Visitors will go from pod to pod where fiery portals open up and they have a glimpse into magical universes: a very famous boy wizard, Harry Potter, Roald Dahl’s The Witches and His Dark Materials – again, families go through that in their separate bubbles. You’ll encounter live guides, special effects, iconic artworks and plenty of challenges that require teamwork.
Your child’s imagination will go wild.
We’ve teamed up with Seven Stories to offer one lucky Living North reader a family ticket to these new immersive exhibitions.
