Win an iconic Angel of the North print to celebrate its 25th Anniversary
Architectural photographer Sally Ann Norman is giving one lucky Living North reader the chance to win one of her newly-revealed photographs from the day the iconic Angel of the North was built
The Angel of the North which proudly overlooks the A1 was constructed in Gateshead in 1998. Made up of cor-ten steel parts which weigh a total of 200 tonnes, and standing 20 metres tall (with a wingspan of 175 feet) the Angel has become part of our Northern identity.
Onsite the day the sculpture rose, Teesside-born Sally was one of three photographers who were commissioned to capture the historical event. And to celebrate the 25th anniversary, Sally has released new images, giving people the chance to purchase them from her Etsy website – and she has one 16” x 12” giclee print to giveaway to one lucky Living North reader.
Printed on archival photo rag paper, the lucky winner will be able to choose which image they would like printed from Sally’s collection which can be viewed here.
