The opening meeting of the jump season at Wetherby Racecourse takes place on Wednesday 16th October, a day that annually supports the charity Spinal Research. This is quickly followed by the spectacular two-day season highlight, the bet365 Charlie Hall Meeting, which takes place on Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd November and is seen as an early season trial for horses, beginning the long winter campaign for the Cheltenham Festival races to be held in March 2025.
As the flat racing season draws to a close, so the jump racing season begins, and the original extreme sport returns to Yorkshire this October.
